It's very odd, isn't it? It goes from serious action movie to cartoony bizarreness and instead of ending on a big moment it just kind of trails off with the characters flying away.

But then, Nintendo had gritty, mature action hero Solid Snake from Metal Gear fighting Pikachu and Mario in the last Super Smash Bros. game, so I guess anything goes in these mash-up games.

Yeah, I was really wanting to follow the Chun Li and Cap team up to save the burning helicarrier, but then it all became weirdness.
