Check out the Google homepage, and just sit there for a few seconds. It's awesome. If you're at work you may want to turn the sound down. ~Hat~

Why my web browser has been stuck playing Pac Man sound effects! I'm running a virus scan trying to figure out if it was some prank virus. I checked all over trying to find an ad or something that was the source, and couldn't find anything open! Even without Google open I was getting the sounds on Firefox... although I do have a google search bar built into the browser. I'll have to poke around and see if this is the reason.

I have no browser windows open but the one I'm typing this into, and yet I still have the "wowowowowowowowowowowowowowo..." siren noise going strong in the background. I thought Google's slogan was "don't be evil"...?
Visionary Moderator thinks the pac-man google logo was kind of cool though... just add a mute button! Member Since: Sat Jan 03, 2004 Posts: 2,131 |

Did you see that it's not just a logo, you can actually play Pac-Man right on the Google homepage? ~Hat~
