Any characters I created are open for this project, given how fertile for merciless mocking the zombie-hero/villain fad is.

isn't sure we've killed off enough characters to do it though. Well, HH probably has...

And the "real world" news story that deserves to be parodied is the Tiger Woods saga, with Vizh and Hallie playing Eldrick and Elin respectively.

About how to parody some of the recent happenings in the comics world.

Blackest Night does jump out as one to parody, but I'm not reading it (I dropped all my DC books awhile ago) so I wouldn't know how to go about doing it.

I was toying with doing a story where Ausgard materializes in the US (as in the pages of Thor) with Clor setting out and conquering Muspelheim (or whatever our equivalent here is) to invade and destroy Ausgard, but I can't get the story to click. (someone else is free to run with any of that if they like)

I do have an idea for a sort of Dark Avengers/X-Force type story (not that I read either title, but I get the premise), which I may be able to incorporate into something I'm discussing with HH.
