I was able to defend myself and point out that this person is an Internet troll, but it was not a pleasant experience. It kind of left me rattled.

While I'm here, though, is anyone else having problems with the board taking an especially long time to load? I selected the "20 entries" display, and it still takes as long as a full minute sometimes.

Not having issues with the board but saw Jason was fixing some stuff today so hopefully it fixed your issue.

The database got rather large over the years, so I copied 2/3 of it over to the "archive" - which is still accessible via the Search feature, but doesn't interfere with the board indexing.

To make that less of a problem in the future (especially at Comicboards) I'm eventually planning to split the replies and threads into different tables. Every board is *most* replies, so there's no reason the indexer needs to be digging through them all just to get the threads. That's going to take a while to implement and make work, though.

And finally, there seems to be a DNS delay looking up mangacool.com. I'm hoping it's not because the domain is under attack like .net was. Either way it's beyond my reach until support figures it out.
