...A couple of characters that I co-created are appearing nude within the December issue of Playboy magazine (US edition), on newsstands today. (No, it's nobody from the Parodyverse) I didn't actually have anything to do with the Playboy spread, but I feel responsible for having objectified fictional characters nonetheless.

It should be right up your alley. Not only is the cover model 48 years old (Carol Alt, appearing nude for the first time apparently), but it has interviews with Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Ray Stevenson (Punisher), an article entitled "Comic Heroes" where celebrated writers talk about the comics that inspired them (Walter Mosley's piece is entitled "Spider-man: The Quintessential Black Male Hero"). Add in the nude fictional characters, and it's practically Wizard magazine. On a side note, I was chatting earlier this evening with the lovely artist who created the models of the characters now appearing nude in Playboy. Her biggest complaint was that the game publisher's marketing department created the pin-up without either of us having input, and she's worried that the boobs will be all wrong.

So...do you feel like a proud dad, or...an embarrassed dad? Since I probably won't see it - who are the two characters?

Heh... the artist who created the models for these characters made that same comparison... that she and I were like the parents. These two obviously take after her...
Here's a scan from another magazine pin-up they were in... fully clothed, this time.
