Mr. Cynical is one of those folks I know whom I'm hard-pressed to remember ever really disagreeing with, even with as willfully disagreeable as I am, because especially when it comes to fandom, he's pretty damn near always right.

Well, for a while now, he's been codifying his fandom wisdom into a series of equally accurate and insightful motivational posters, which all of you can now enjoy on his Photobucket album.

How good are they?

Those are just a couple of the funny and absolutely true ones that I found, in the first few seconds of searching his archive of literally more than 1,000 such image macros.

Check them all out for yourselves here.

As is always the case with my writing, please feel free to comment. I welcome both positive and negative criticism of my work, although I cannot promise to enjoy the negative.

The truth of Mr. Cynical's statements is debatable, but I didn't find them humorous on any level. Motivational poster macros are already a cliche on the Internet, but most of these are just direct statements about how new comics suck, with very limited irony to make the image anything other than fandom whining. The fact that there are over a thousand of them doesn't help.
