Awhile ago I asked for some information concerning the Lair Mansion. I'm wondering if this information is still valid & what needs to be updated. Mansion/Legion Staff: - Amber St. Claire: Government liaison. - Meggan Foxx: Media Liaison. - Sgt. Argus MacHarridan: Head of Security. - Flapjack: Butler. - Hallie: Resident Computer. - Asil Ashling: Legion Secretary/Sir Mumphrey's amanuensis. - Marie Murcheson: Banshee. - Kenny: Gardener. Members in Residence: - Lee Bookman has a room but spends most of his time in the File Room or at the MPL. - CrazySugarFreakBoy! (But also has a separate address). - Yuki Shiro (May also have separate address). - Epitome, Glory & Katarina lived in mansion but have moved out. (I know he's gone, but does Glory still use the room? Where is Kat at the moment?) - Visionary lives in the Lighthouse near the Mansion with his Kids. - Hallie, Flapjack & Marie also live in the mansion. Parody Island is accessed by a long, gated Bridge. (Has the gate ever been described? How wide is the bridge? Could you drive a car on it?) Mansion Defenses: (The less serious the threat is the easier it is to get past these). - Cosmic defenses that against or course cosmic-powered intrusion. - The Mansion is difficult to teleport around because of extra-dimensional spaces. - Mystic intrusion tends to get the Mansion a bit crabby, and it previously deployed a banshee to deal with this. (This bit of info was from when Marie was returned to human form, would she again do this since she is now a Banshee once more?) - Detonator Hippos. - Sensors that are connected to the Legions' computer system & Hallie. - Nanobots to defend against tiny particle intrusion. - The front door made of unbreakable adamantine (hinges & the frame on the door aren't). - Octopus Arms. - Stunulators Lasers by the front door. The Mansion's Address: The Lair Mansion, Parody island, Parodopolis, USA. Also, if anyone had a physical description of the Mansion that I may reference, that would be awesome. -Brian/L!
Visionary Moderator knows cars have driven up to the mansion, so the bridge must support them. Member Since: Sat Jan 03, 2004 Posts: 2,131 |

As I understand it, Epitome vanished and Glory has gone off to look for him. Kat may have moved into the house she planned to live in with Epitome, but in any case she's out of the Mansion.
There's quite a bit about the place in The Untold Tale of the Lair Mansion, and a history and description in Everything You Wanted to Know About the Lair Mansion But Were Afraid To Ask.

These were originally decapitation devices, but listed as Stunnulators for "insurance reasons". I don't know if this has been changed.
Al B. Harper - would love to read a new League of Improbable Gentlemen story - just saying. |

> and a history and description in Everything You Wanted to Know About the Lair Mansion But Were Afraid To Ask. "By then it was being used as a mission house by the Church of Conformity, a radical and mysterious sect with links to both the European inquisition and the Puritan witch-burners."

Ok. I wasn't sure. I'm not even sure I'll mention Mr. E or Glory. I just had them in my notes & thought I'd ask.
Thanks! |
