But when I try to make an attempt to get back into the public writing scene, it helps if people are more encouraging and excited about posts. I know it's just a stupid round robin that I posted earlier this month, but I'd appreciate some participation.

Until I see that, I will not be posting anymore.

In case this is my final post...

Thanks for your time. Hope you all have a good future.

Sincerely,
Joseph T. Gould

I'm always happy to see anyone posting, and like to encourage it. It'll be a shame if you end up not posting again. However, I note that you never acknowledged nor responded to anyone else's posts on the board. I can't help but feel that probably would have gone a long way in encouraging people to participate in threads you began in turn.

I endorse Vizh's encouragement. I'd add that other possible factors right now are that we're suffering a long slow period of little poster involvement generally, and we're also in the middle of another round robin which has run to over 50 chapters that might divert some people's limited time. Finally, a couple of people responded to your previous notes by admitting that they weren't sure about the character of Joey Z and would have difficulty writing him because of that. We might need refamiliarising with him as its a long time since his original stories appeared.

Anyhow, I hope you decide to stick around.

I echo the comments made by both Ian & Vizh, they both brought up some good points.

One question: If this is your last post, will you reply to this thread?

On to the story: I being a friend (I was the person who brought the PV to your attention) had tried to come up with a continuation of your RR story but came up short. Well, there was the one idea of using Arnie J. Armbruster (he is a lawyer, you know). But then, I couldn't think up a post worthy scene for the 2 to be in (It had been awhile since either character has been on the board). My second thought was to come up with a completely Joey Z. devoid scene just to may it harder for next person but that also come up for naut: I tried to think up something about the ice cream & where it had gone but I couldn't figure that out.

I tried but failed. \:\(

I read it and liked it, but I wasn't entirely sure where it was going yet.

I haven't been around replying because I honestly don't have much time to even read them. I have a very filled schedule and it's all I can do at times to keep up with my class readings. Sorry, but I was just trying to be a part of the board in what simple way I could and I thought a round robin would be just the thing to keep me "kinda" posting.
