I inadvertantly won 2 free movie passes to a movie premiere in a few weeks from a radio station. The station has an on-line Bonus Rewards system; part of it is 4 Bonus Code Words that are given out 4 times a day. You hear the word, enter it on-line, and you get points that can be used for raffles and Buy it Now items. Since I have the radio on in my office every day (I work alone, I need some company!) I play along.

So the other day I missed the first word, but I caught the 2nd, "slag". I remember thinking that's pretty easy to remember, it's a Dinobot. Then the next word was "swoop". It didn't hit me until the last word, "sludge", that these were all names of the Dinobots!

Just for fun, I e-mailed in to say "That can't be a coincidence that all of the Bonus Words are Dinobots!". I got an e-mail back stating that it was Transformers week and since I called them on it I won the movie passes. They don't even advertise that as a component of the Bonus Words, so it was neat to find out that way.

Today (new week) I missed the first word, but the 2nd one was "Commander". On a hunch I tried to input "Cobra", and what do you know, I was right. I e-mailed in and even though I was right that it's GI Joe week I didn't get more prizes though.

And who says watching cartoons will rot your brain? \:\)
