I have some questions, question that their answers will hopefully be used in upcoming an story/stories. Most of these questions relate to the Lair Legion:

- What's the Mansion's address? Does the Legion have a P.O. Box?
- What type of security systems protect the Mansion? Are they easily tripped?
- How would one get on to the Island? Is it only accessible by Boat or could you drive there?
- Who currently lives at the Mansion? Who has a room at the Mansion but who live elsewhere?
- What the current line-up of the Lair Legion? Is Hatman the man in charge (i.e. The Team Leader)? Who holds other positions on the team (Deputy leader, Government liaison, Head of media relations, etc.)?
- What type of Hologram is Hallie? What is Hallie's default holographic image? (The second part relates more to clothes then appearance, I know what she looks like)
- Does Mr. Epitome have any nicknames? Does Katrina (That is how you spell her name right?) call him anything special?
- Does Mr. Epitome still work for OPS?
- Are the Lair Legion Jr. still around? Has the group broken up? Is there a new line-up?

Lastly: I wouldn't mind getting any and/or all info relating to The Safe.

Well, the Stunulators are classic laser weapons above the front door, but usually they only trigger when a friendly tries to enter the Mansion. I'm not sure if Sargeant McHarridan is around right now or not. Otherwise I'm not sure, but I'd say feel free to invent some of your own security too; Al B. is always tinkering.


I believe there is a landbridge to the Island. I know I've written it as such in the past.


Well, I can say that Hatman lives in the Mansion. I believe CSFB! and Dominic reside both in the Mansion and at separate addresses (CSFB! in Seattle and Dominic in the house he's building with Katarina). Hallie lives at the Mansion, and I think Yuki does as well (though I suspect Yuki would also have her own place). Vizh lives in the lighthouse with his kids. Al B. has a cottage but I think he would have a room in the Mansion as well.


I believe Hatman is still the leader with CSFB! as deputy. Yuki is the tactical advisor. I don't know if Amber (Government liaision) is still on staff or not.


I think he gets called "Dom" sometimes, and he is often described as the "paragon of power" and the "star-spangled splendour"


I think they're still off-world at the moment.


I know there's a cell in the basement that used to contain the Bloodreaper and then a Doomwraith. I think it's sitting empty right now. I think it's on an island (Flanaghan Island?)

I think that answers some of your questions, though I hope that I will be corrected by someone else if I'm wrong.

I've always loved those lame things.

I suppose they can be. I'm of the opinion the less serious the threat (and thus the story), the easier it is to get past security.

I can only speak for my cast but Epitome, Glory, and Kat have just about finished furnishing their new house, and as such will be moving out.



Hat's the leader, CSFB!'s the deputy, Librarian, Vizh, and Al B are associates, and Epitome, Yuki, and the Manga Shoggoth make up the rest of the field team.

Amber St. Claire is still the govt liasion job, and CSFB!'s mom Meggan Foxx is their media person. I think there are still some Detonator Hippoes around as security, and Flapjack is still the butler.



Does he ever! Exemplary Man, Man of Might, Paragon of Power, Star Spangled Splendor, American Archtype, and I'm sure CSFB! can give you several more, though not quite as flattering.


Does Katrina (That is how you spell her name right?) call him anything special?

Its Katarina (a homage to Hurricane Katrina, since it had forced me to evacuate from home and Dancer wrote the story about the time I tried returning). And she usually calls him Dom.

Most of the candidates (other than Glory and Kerry) are still on the Caphan planet, and as far as I know no new roster is set.

The Lair Mansion, Parody Island, Parodopolis.


There are (or possibly were) cosmic defences against cosmic-powered intrusion. It's a difficult place to teleport around because of all the extradimensional spaces. Mystic intrusion tends to get the mansion crabby, and it previously deployed a banshee to deal with it.

Detonator Hippo Sgt Argus MacHarridan is security chief, but Hallie also has sensors in many places. Nanobots defend against tiny particle intrusion. The front door is made of unbreakable adamantine (but the hinges and frame aren't).


There's a long gated causeway bridge from Paradopolis.


Others have covered this. Live-in staff include Flapjack, Hallie, and Sgt MacHarridan. Asil, Amber and others commute in. Who knows where gardened Kenny lives?

A live-in guest that I've established to be there is former Lair Banshee Marie Murcheson.


Hallie can either appear as a classic light hologram using the Mansion's projectors or whe can download herself to a Holographic Emitter Drone (HED), an egg-sized floating device that projects both hologram and force field to give her solidity (but can limit her data capacity). Her default image is a green-skinned woman with spectacles who resembles her engram donor Helen MacAllistair. She often wears a green wire-model skinsuit or a lab coat.


If I ever get round to another Untold tales story we'll cover this.
