Usually, my eyes tend to glaze over during the stretches of The Daily Show between Jon Stewart's opening segments and the final interviews, but correspondent Jason Jones has contributed a word to the political lexicon that, if there is any justice in this world, will become as well-known as Stephen Colbert's redefinition of "truthiness:" "FLILF" (ie. "First Lady I'd Like to Fuck"). Not only did Jones apply that term to would-be first ladies Jeri Kehn (wife of Fred Dalton Thompson) and Elizabeth Kucinich (wife of Dennis Kucinich), but he actually had the balls to interview Elizabeth Kucinich and ask her about being a FLILF, and oh my fucking Christ, I would bang her sweet, sweet firecrotch ass until her fingernails had shredded my back into ribbons. She's 30 years old (two years younger than me) and more drop-dead gorgeous than most supermodels, and yet, she's married to a 61-year-old who somehow manages to look even more repellent than Rachel Dratch's impression of him on Saturday Night Live. I don't know whether I want to buy him a beer or kick him in the balls for that. Suffice it to say that Jones behaved far better than I would have done, in his shoes, and he has earned a spot on my short list of Correspondents On The Daily Show Whose Segments I Will Actually Bother To Pay Attention To, right alongside John Oliver and Lewis Black. P.S. Fucking Gold Star Bonus Points for getting Lorenzo Lamas to participate in your segment, Jason. Well fucking done, man.

Assuming, of course, that she wasn't aware of it from the beginning. Jason Jones has had a number of good segments (such as when someone was quoted as saying Marine training was probably just as harsh as waterboarding. Jones (a former Marine): "I once had to peel a whole pile of potatos".) He, Aasif Mandvi, and John Oliver are my current favorites. Although I still miss the days of the "Even Stevens" segments.

... I think you're thinking of Rob Riggle, who IS a former Marine, and whom I shamefully neglected to mention. Did you get my e-mail?
