For some reason the Parodyverse board has taken a dislike to Rhiannon's latest story and tells her she's forbidden to access /php/msgpost.php on this server. To read the story - which I think is Rhiannon's best work yet, and her first use of other people's Parodyverse characters, you'll have to follow the link below. Then come back here to reply, please. After the War - a tie-in to the end of the Parody War I should point out, by the way, that the help referred to from me in the titles refers to help getting the story on the internet. The only contribution I made to the actual content was the ruthless impostion of punctuation.

This was an excellent story and a great deal of fun! For me, it was a real treat to read Teresa's account of the various stages of the Parody War. It added quite a fresh perspective to view it from someone that distant. You also did a great job of conveying the fear that an invasion causes, as the attacks by the Avawarriors were tense and gripping. I've always liked the poetic use of Teresa's gifts, and there were some especially well described bits in here as she unleashed the potential around her. You write PV continuity very well... I look forward to more!

An excellent story that gives us a civilian's eye view of the Parody War while moving your own plot forward. Wel done

Quite a good piece. You merged your previous material in well, and added a few very evocative descriptions. This actually triggered flashbacks to the Three Day Week when I was a child - less, of course, the preponderance of electric gadgets. Classrooms were simpler then...

As I mentioned to you, I think this is probably your best work to date, being both evocative and thought provoking. One of the key reasons I post in an interactive forum is because of the fun of getting those other perspectives. Your contribution is most welcome, but I have to admit that it is very weird to have my daughter doing tie-ins to my Parodyverse stories. When I first wrote for this community you were five years old. I didn't ever imagine I'd be getting new insights on my stories from a companion piece from you! I also note that you have succumbed to the curse of Untold Tales. The story you intended to be a paragraph long sprawled out to 3500 words - the length of a standard chapter of that series. Now you know how I feel. Anyhow, well done. Next?

Thanks, someday I'm planning to have Teresa move to Paradopolis, but she'll have to meet her mystery villian at least once before that.
Umm... I'm afraid this makes next to no sense to me.

I hadn't actually intended to write all that. Everything up to the first divider was planned to be the first paragraph. Then I actually wrote it.
And she has now also discovered a new creative way of using her power.
Don't hold your breath. I actually only wrote this as Daddy told me to, though he wasn't actually serious when he said it. I wrote this anyway. Now he can't complain about my reply being too short, too long maybe...

Thankyou.
Isn't life fun that way. I'm glad you consider the veiwpoint I wrote from a pespective worth looking through.
Glad that you managed to surprise even yourself with your story and its size and quality?
Next I finish Marshmallow Goldfish.

The size surprised me. Originally I thought I'd do it in maybe 20 chapters, plus 6 for SR1066.
Proceed. | |||||

In the 1970s a series of national strikes in the coal and power industries led to major blackouts and the shutdown of industry and some schools for all but three days each week - the "Three Day Week".

I'm probably not going to any time soon, I'm not really ready to start using other characters than my own regulary yet. |
