I wasn't originally expecting an origin for the Abyssal Greye, but I quite enjoyed it... despite so much of it being over my head. Still, that's encouraging in terms of keeping any of the ghouls from getting too peckish. It was good to see this group take the lead again, and remember their true selves as well. Plus get buried in attack beavers.

Now if only Sarah can stop that Celestian, and the other can keep me from being a permanent resident of that tomb.

It occured to me that, having sketched the very briefest of appearances for the Keeper of the Borders so far it was important to give her a bit more substance. Rhiannon thinks that Zania is basically a Disney character, setting out from home to seek her dream and discover important lessons about herself. But she's pleased that Zania doesn't come attached to a male cast member on whom she depends for her storyline. So there goes the Zania/Mr Papadapopolis romance.

I'm all for her breaking out into a song about what she's looking for in life...

Really though, Sarah needs to come back and write a series where she sets Mr. Papadapopolis up on a series of dates until he finds true love, because now I'm worried about him.

Good work on that attention span.

I've been doing better. I don't always end up heading out to buy crullers after science lessons.

You will doubtless recall that one of our characters is established in continuity as Madonna's love child. Really.

You really think that I would recall that, wouldn't you?

Splendid. And the identity of the big villain?

Er... Byrne? It's not like I'm ever forgiving him... even though Vizh is now in films and had an excellent comic series.

We'll, I have to put the story down for a couple of days at least, but Alex and Rhi tell me they will both be out of the house by the weekend so I'll have plenty of too-quiet-hours to fill then.

Excellent! I'll keep my fingers crossed.
