There will be very little rhyme or reason to what's here (and likely in any threads that follow, as I can only attach a few items per message), but I assume if you're looking at this you're doing so because you're bored, so why be picky about it?



To start off with, here's a shot from a visit to our resident lawyer Lisa's. She's the owner of the hands in the foreground. We were accosted by water buffalo in a local safari park.





Next we have my old office in Annapolis, wallpapered in concept art for Damnation. I had a window that looked out on the pit where everybody else worked, which essentially just made me a display not too unlike the monkey house at the zoo.





Here's a steampunk raygun I built because I was bored. Never could get it to fire though.

I *think* I can show these... they were done quite a while ago. It's some professional background work of mine for a "How To Train Your Dragon" game. I have no idea what kind of game, for what system, or whether it was ever released. So let's assume that it came out and I'm perfectly free to share these, but... just in case it didn't, keep it on the Q.T.






And here's another raygun, also not-quite-functional. I think I need new vacuum tubes or something.

Here's some really rough concept work for a kid's adventure game. Yes, nobody exhumes dinosaur skeletons intact from the walls of canyons, but it makes for a cool environment to explore.




I end up doing a lot of work for those little facebook farming style games... here's a batch of concepts for little tiny buildings.




I passed the Pony images that I had done for my cousin on to one of the big fan sites for the show and they were well received, so I've done a few more over time. I don't get any pay out of these, but since the fandom's pretty ravenous it's just fun to track them after they hit the web. They pop up in some random places (Google reverse image search makes for an interesting diversion from time to time.) I've found my artwork made into puzzles, part of massive threads on boards I never knew existed, and discussed heavily in Russian (Google translation kind of helped make sense of it.)

Here are a couple I did of the lead character at different points in her life. I doubt they'll mean anything to anybody here, but they're kind of cute and colorful, and I don't want to end on tiny building concepts:

To be fair, it's not all that common out here either. And that may simply be a cow in the picture. It was a rather mixed herd and the game preserve, and I don't always know one ungulate from another.





I'm not sure how much the brainwaves really resonated, however the owner of the company loved my office because it was an interesting place to bring people on a tour. Most of the process of making computer games is about as exciting to watch as your average accounting pool. My office at least looked like we were doing something more engaging than taxes.




If you hear about a large section of Pennsylvania getting vaporized, then you'll know I worked out the problem with the plasma flow.

Did I ever tell you about the nightclub I went to in China that was steam-punk inspired? I thought of you at the time...and surprisingly enough there was another in the next town and another in the next. Was some sort of chain deal.

I lost out on a contract over the summer because I didn't really have much in the way of polished cartoon work in my portfolio (at least stuff that the average person could appreciate.) So I figure getting some quality kid's stuff done will be helpful.

Not sure I have it in me for the long grind necessary to do a whole book, however.

I think they were actually for a game... the torch flames are on a separate layer, and would be animated, and then the dragon would fly around and you'd have to shoot it down or something. Again, I don't know all that much about the final product.





That one ended up being a Christmas present for my aunt, who is also an artist.





No... sounds pretty cool though. I understand they had some kind of promotional/launch party for the Damnation video game in a Steampunk bar in San Francisco. Fat lot of good it did us on the opposite coast, but still... the write ups of the place sounded cool.

Does that resident lawyer Lisa still practice in Ohio or Indiana? I have a moving company to sue and either no lawyer in their right mind wants to sue a moving company, or this particular one has every single law firm on retainer. Actually I don't have any clue why, but I've been turned down by a lot of them.

Well, that sucks... Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately (in this case) Lisa is now a Magistrate rather than than in private practice. If you had an issue in family court, she'd give you a fair hearing, but I don't think she can represent you on the side.

It's difficult to design a building that looks like a chiropractor's office, or an acupuncturist, or so on.

You'll have to let me know if they do a decent job of dealing with the Vision's death. I've flipped through a few issues of that, but it didn't seem like she shared much of any scenes with that new Vizh, and I remain quite jaded by the fact that my Vision was killed off and nobody seemed all that upset about it. (I'm also upset that the Vision gets little or no consideration as the father of his sons.) still, I've heard good things about the series, and I'd like to know that they at least undid the horrible damage they did to Wanda's character to some degree.

As for work, it remains frustrating. I spent all day at it yesterday with nothing decent to show for it by the time I quit. I'll have to work the holiday to make up for it.

By the way, I found out another of the projects I did has been released already, so I could show artwork from that if you're interested. Images from something called Vampire Wars.

Wanda just recovered her memory and feels pretty awful for what she did to everybody..she mentoined killing her husband...Funny, they said she never divorced from him (I have seen that said in Vision profile)

This new Vizh is a completely new character. I wish at the end, the old one will be restored. However interesting could be a teeneger Vision, I would rather like to have the old one. one character even makes jokes telling him (the teen Vision) that he is married,...and he gets in shock and says that was the other vision (the new one is in love of another teen). However, I hope Wanda and him gets to talk..It would be just the normal thing to do...It hasn´t happen yet tho..But as I said, that is a chat for a more quite time she is having right now...

It feels like an old fashion comic in the best sense of the word. Plus it has a normal wanda in it. And it has dealing with dissambled in a clever way. And people beheaves more or less in character. The writer says he is a fan of the old wanda and old Vision....so I can only hope. But there are some issues left.
