The Library has always been this. This may be the first MPL story done from a patron perspective. Every other MPL story has had Lee Bookman as the POV & he only even talks to personal Nodes not the ones for the public. The reason his personal nodes are who they are is because of Bookman's intervention. He wasn't liking the preset programming for his Artificial Life Form, Model Red so wrote new programing for it & it became A.L.F.RED. He also wrote some programing that gave a face & voice to the MPL's central computer, he named her D.D.

It has a name or at least a species name: Ohmposian. How did he get in in? Like everything else, He had a ID card.
