If Kiivan died and none of his heirs are born then the appointment of a new Emir becomes a matter for the Emirate Council, guided by the Priesthood; or else it becomes a matter of civil war. If an unborn heir survives then Visonary might get the role of Lord Protector or Vizier, reigning for the boy king - assuming that Vaahir was somehow unavailable.
