"So!" Visionary beamed happily. "In light of the extension of Spider Week, I thought I'd announce an extension of..."

"No, Vizh" Hallie declared, flashing in next to him. "Not gonna happen."

"What? But... there's new stuff to report! Online T-Shirt shops are selling designs with Magneto Pony on them! Screw Attack magazine's latest Death Battle video was Rainbow Dash vs. Starscream the Decepticon! You at least have to let me post the side-by-side comparison video showing how the season premiere did a shot-for-shot recreation of the medal ceremony ending of Star Wars!"

"It's time to let it go, Vizh... you're creeping everyone out."

"Hey, I supported everyone through their Pokemon obsessions!" he reminded her. "CSFB still has one he trots out every now and then, and it's been like 12 years since that started!"

"Dream hasn't posted here in months, and if he was here now then the odds are he'd berate you in that L33T speak gibberish about contracting "TEH GAYS" or something."

Visionary raised an eyebrow.

"I can translate every language on the Internet" she defended, "but nobody can force me to learn that stuff."

"You know, it's not that weird. They're practically super-heroes."

"In candy-colored pony form" she countered.

"They each have their own super-hero logo..."

"And what do they call those again?" she asked pleasantly.

"Um... cutie marks..."

"What was that?"

He sighed. "Cutie Marks."

She nodded.

"Okay, so from the outside it might look a little creepy..." Visionary sulked. "But it's not like anyone else is posting all that much."

"So that makes it okay for you to harass the 4 other people who use the board?"

"Harass is kind of harsh" he noted. "I was thinking more... "enlighten"."

Hallie nodded. "And now I'm adding the number of a cult extraction and deprogramming team to the Lair's speed-dial."

"Fine. I'll drop it" he grumbled. "But Fleabot and I are still going to watch the show."

"You can keep your new pony friends" Hallie assured him. "Just don't force your existing friends to socialize with them." She nodded her head towards the door. "Now come on... just because nobody writes about it doesn't mean you don't have a huge stack of Lair Legion paperwork to get through today."

Visionary sighed and followed her out of the room. "Hey..." he noted, "Have I ever told you how much you remind me of Twilight Sparkle?"

"Is she a horse?"

"Yeah."

"Word of advice... don't make that comparison to a woman from behind."

Visionary absorbed that. "She is pretty awesome though."

"Then you may live."

...but so far I haven't progressed to the stage of ponifying other characters.

That said, thinking about it I can now totally see the pony versions of Vizh and Hallie, clear as day. Hmmmm... and filly Magweed.

Uh-oh.

... you do know that it was Spider week & not Pony week?

But I did enjoy the story.

Ha... I resisted the urge to sketch some PV ponies. Mostly because I found an online pony generator to do it for me:

Anyway, here's the (late) Librarian, Yuki, Vizh, Hallie, Epitome and Al B. in pony form:

And if anyone wants to play around with it starting from the designs above, here are the save codes for them:

Fun stuff - even if a little creepy.

Pony Yuki rocks I suppose.

Here are Cody and Kara Harper - just to join in the fun.

As I recall, when my little cousin proudly introduced me to her collection way back when I told her that I was pretty sure they were some kind of thick-legged mutant Chihuahuas judging by the head shape alone.

Still, it turns out that they are fun to draw, so I can't knock the designer of the new look... and I much prefer them to the pudgy old-school pony toys.

I would think that those two can get transmogrified into all sorts of things on a regular basis just sweeping up at EEE. In this case they pull off the look quite well... Kara is especially adorable. She needs a time traveler mark on her flank, I would think. Not sure how Cody's translation abilities would be symbolized though.

Once there are a few more posters about, I'll finish off the next chapter of my Vizh the Ambassador story, which is about 80% there. In the meantime, I'll keep trying to find *something* to post about here in order to keep a minimum board activity. The little Al/Babs snippet and this one here were quick to write and fun little throwbacks to the early days at the Parodyverse.

Of course, part of me keeps pointing out that one of the Pony fan-written stories over at Equestria Daily has 3591 comments on it and spawned its own dedicated page over on the TV Tropes website. Now personally, I've never really had a taste for writing actual fan fiction, but it does seem to me that "Happiness" would translate very easily to being pony-based...

Here's a pony picture I made for my cousin Brianna. It *kind of* has a bunny in it, so I figure that should hold some sway with you:

...As I said, the ponies are actually fun to draw. They've reduced the design down to the point that they're nothing but faces, hairstyles and limbs... no pesky hands or feet or clothing to make them a pain in the ass. Rob Liefeld could finally have some characters that he didn't have to place standing behind ground obstructions.

Not to say that a pony can't benefit from a stylish hat and cape, case in point.

She's having her birthday party this weekend, and she asked for the Princess Celestia pony with light up wings that talks, so that's what I got her.

Now, on the show, this character is a goddess who controls the sun and the heavens and manipulates characters to be where they need to be like some kind of benevolent Hooded Hood. The toy, however, is pink (even though the character on the show is white) and says things like "I'm a princess!" and "I love it when you brush my hair!"

So the little girl is only *somewhat* lucky, in my opinion, because it seems like the "Seastrike Visionary" and "Tickle Me Donar" toys we had in the Parodyverse were far more accurate to real life than even I imagined.

Although I have to admit, a Hooded Hood doll with a comb-able beard would be pretty sweet.

I want to read one where Parodyverse characters transform into doll ponies...and I want one HH comb-able beard for this year Christmas...
and your pic should make for the pink pony. I´m sure she will love it
