1st off, glad the PV is on Twitter and Facebook. It’s good that the board is keeping up with the times. Now someone like me can see brief post headings and stop by more often.

Ok, I wanted to do a quick post and say Hi. I’ve missed you guys so very much. Sometimes it hurts to think how far I’ve deliberately put myself. I have been watching from a distance though. I can’t believe I’ve been away for about 4 years! Jeeze! It feels like just yesterday.

I’m going to post more. That does not mean I’ll be reading and replying to stories. This is kinda why I drifted off. I didn’t feel it was right for me to post but not contribute, so I left. But I miss you guys.

See, most days I’m busy from 4:30 am to 11 pm with family, work and the novels, so there just isn’t time to read PV stuff or write PV stories. But I do consider you guys my friends and I do want to read about your lives and such, so I’ll be posting replies to general.
As for life, it’s the same, only later in the future.

My marriage is doing good. Currently the wife has had great abdominal pains. It’s looking like the gallbladder but we’re still not sure. The kids (still 4) are older. I have a high school student (16), a Jr High going to High School (14), a elementary school going to Jr High (12) and a elementary school student(10). Barney & the Teletubbies have been long exiled and replaced with Disney & Nickelodeon channels. My kids have the warped ability to be able to name a kazillion heroes, though.

Still a CAD drafter. I would love to be a professional writer but until I have enough clout (sales from as least 4 books on the shelf) I have to work. Sigh.

After all this time, Ann and Roland, my constant companions, are still around and their story has changed quite a bit. More beta readers, critique groups and edits have occurred. Finally I hiored a professional editor and have learned things I never imagined. I’m on a deadline to revise the entire manuscript within two months, due May 1st. I’m on chapter 20 of 30 chapters but chap 28 scares me. I finished book 2 but it’ll have to go through more changes.

Still love comics and have bought a few trades in the last few years. Bought a ,lot of figures. Collecting the DC Universe Classics. Yup, Caption the Pic is still going strong. Sorry I stopped posting it here. I’ll post it here from now on.

So, things are going great, just busy. They’ll always be busy. That’s why I try to spend time with the kids before they grow more.
Oh, and last year I lost faith in the Republican party. I’m not all Democrat, but I’m sure sick of the Obama bashing I get from everyone in this one horse state I live in. I like the pres and sure wish there was someone near me who didn’t preach the gospel according to Rush. Sigh. That’s what I get for living in Utah.

Well, I miss ya guys. I’ll post more and stop being a stranger.

Glad to hear you're doing well, and that you plan to be around more often!

The Twitter feed was my idea; it's an automatic software feature. I thought I should try to take message boards into the whole social collaboration age.

Glad to hear that things are going (relatively) well and that the book is still a going concern. Just remember that you need to rest and relax - a day that leaves you with 5 1/2 hours sleep is not really a good thing in anything but the very short term.

Chris.

Your youngest kid is ten? I remember when he was a fetus.

Glad to hear things are going mostly well.

Let me try uploading pics of him.

If this pic works, it's him with us at Disney.
