Sorry I didn't alert people before I left, but these days I feel significantly less anonymous online than I used to, and so announcing on a public board that I was going to be away for 11 days didn't seem all that prudent. I would have responded to your e-mails, Kirk, but I didn't get them until I was almost home already.

I had a good time meeting up with the extended family to take my nephew through the various Disney Parks down in Florida. I probably walked the equivalent of a marathon over 5 days, not counting standing-in-line time. (Actually, that's much improved with the whole "fast pass" thing they do now, where you show up and get a ticket telling you when to come back and ride without waiting in the hour + line.)

My nephew had a good time, I had a good time despite developing some blisters on my feet, and Mickey got a lot of money... so I guess things worked out.

I'll be commenting on things as I get the chance and get settled. Nice to be back!
